We get asked all the time...how do I get my bar of soap to last longer? Completely natural soap (free of glycerins, etc.) is generally softer than the more generic bars (think lever 2000) so it has a tendency to not last quite as long. While this is true, we do have some tips that will help your bar of Mr. B's last as long as it can.
First off, we suggest not using the whole bar at one time. Break a small piece off of the bar and use it until it is done, and then go back for more. Not only will this help your bar of soap to last longer, but it is much easier to hold than our large full size bar.
In addition, do not keep your bar of soap in a place in the shower where it is constantly getting wet. The water will break down the soap much faster than if you used it and the placed it back in dry spot.
When you are not using your soap, we recommend using a soap dish or rack that has raised bars or grooves so that the bar of soap is not sitting in a little bit of the water that is left over after using it. We've rounded up a few of our favorite soap dishes for you to check out.
